FOILS UP, FINS DOWN
-
Where do I launch near Fort Pierce?1) Jetty Park, AKA Fort Pierce South Jetty. Your favorite new #1 foiling spot in North America that you never knew existed. This spot is magic on a north or north east wind. Expect ocean conditions and a crowd on windy days. Show up early for parking! 2098 Seaway Dr, Fort Pierce, FL 34949 2) Stuart Causeway, Experience some of the best flatwater wing foiling that Florida has to offer. This launch is perfect for beginners. The Causeway offers three separate access points, so you can ride in any wind direction. East or south east wind direction favors this area best. Be cautious of the tides and pay attention to the current(s) before you launch. Driving over the bridge before your session will reveal the current sandbar(s) and water depth (we recommend a 68cm-82cm mast). If the wind direction is right, you will be able to enjoy a relaxing ride over the Sailfish flats until you reach the famous House of Refuge Museum via riverside. On weekends there can be plenty of boat wakes to chase on your way back in. Pack a cooler and lunch! 4055 SE Ocean Blvd, Sewall's Point, FL 34996 3) Old Fort Park, Flatwater riding in the Indian River! Launch here on any wind but west. 1001 S Indian River Dr, Fort Pierce, FL 34950
